MANAAR HOUSE

At Manaar House, visitors have the choice of bed and breakfast accommodation or the self catering option. All the B & B bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with air-conditioning, telephone, internet facilities and individual satellite TV. Each room is en suite (separate bath and shower) and is equipped with a mini bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All units have their own private entrance.

The large, luxury apartment can comfortably sleep four people (Kind-size bed and 2 Singles) with a double sleeper couch downstairs for an additional guest. The apartment is air-conditioned and is also fitted with ceiling fans throughout. There is a DSTV decoder for satellite TV. The apartment is equipped with telephone and ADSL (Broadband) internet facilities. The kitchen is well appointed and fully equipped.

The second self catering apartment is smaller and consists of a double bedroom (King-size bed), en suite (shower only) and a fully equipped kitchen with under counter oven, hob and microwave. This unit has satellite TV. Telephone and internet facilities are also available.

Apartments are serviced daily and a laundry and ironing service is provided at a small additional cost. Secure, under cover parking is available for guest’s vehicles. Manaar House is a three minute drive away from the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of Umhlanga, where there are several fine restaurants and at Gateway Shopping Centre (Largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere). The International Conference Centre (I.C.C.), and Durban International Airport are a twenty minute drive away by car. A first world hospital is a five minute drive away. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity

According to the 2006 annual report of South African Tourism, foreign tourists to South Africa spent about R53.4bn during the calendar year 2005.
